Sauna Beach Haven 106 | Beachfront Condo Near Downtown & TART Trail

My wife and I booked a weekend stay in this condo on the Grand Traverse Bay. We weren't very impressed with what we chose for the price of over 1400 for 2 nights...we had higher expectations, as this is something we've never done. When we arrived and opened the door, there was a fresh set of footprints you could see all the way from the door to the kitchen, as if someone was walking around right after mopping.. there was only 1 towel and 2 wash clothes in the bathroom. Which they brought us more after a phone call from my wife. The bed was terrible to sleep on, we both had sleepless nights and even considered the pull out bed in couch. The drawers were full of their things so we couldn't unpack. However, my wife decided to pull everything out and put under bed so we could settle in. The closet was full as well, about a 10" space to hang clothes which drapped over a baby high chair. There were spiders all over the ceiling in the living room, which we left alone and didn't spend much time in there. The sauna was only large enough for 1 person and took 25 minutes to heat up to 60 but maxed out at 70.. I booked this room specifically for the sauna for my wife. Was a dissapointment. The washer dryer combo unit was very finicky and wouldn't start with the little bit of soap they left there.. Added water and we were able to get it to work only once. The building is 3 stories and only 4 people are allowed in hot tub at a time. The location was the best part of this stay.

Property great although beach was a bit dirty with cigarette butts. No fault of host though.

Overall it was a great place and we had a very memorable experience that was supported by the great view, the beach, and the comfort of the overall surroundings.

What a great condo! Beautifully decorated. Comfy bed. Loved the sauna and the location was steps from the sand and crystal clear water of Traverse Bay!Highly recommend!
