Boona Vista|Lake Michigan Beach Front Cottage

We had a great experience at Boona Vista! Location is tough to beat. 5 min from Leland and 15 from Glen Arbor. The mostly private beach setting is tough to beat. Path leads down to fire pit with adirondacks and a dedicated stretch of sandy beach just for you. There were 4 adirondacks on the beach which was great. No neighbors on the beach within 50-75 yds either way. Good Harbor Bay is shallow with a sandy bottom until you get pretty far out. The house had an updated kitchen and was perfect for our family of 4. Laundry is located in basement but not an issue for us. The lofted bedroom does get warm during the day but seemed to cool off by night time. I think for a minimal cost the mattress quality could be elevated if looking for improvements. We had a great week and staff was great with communication and available if needed! Would highly recommend a stay here!

This quaint little cottage is perfect for a family get away. The views are spectacular, the beach is gorgeous, and the cottage has everything you need with the beach just steps away, plus a great yard for kids or dogs to play in. The fire pit nestled between the yard and beach is a perfect place for adults to hang out. The cabin had everything we need! The beds and spaces were comfortable, and the hosts were gracious and quick to respond. They also provided a ton of information about the surrounding areas and things to do. Can't wait to visit the area again and check out the other properties! Highly recommend!

The cottage was great- so peaceful, but also easy to access all the surrounding activities. The cottage itself was cozy but also very comfortable. Our whole family loved it. I would definitely stay here again when I return to the area.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Boona Vista. The location is tough to beat and the house worked well for our small family. Looking forward to a visit again in the future.
